After a string of successful tests, Oliver has signed to contest this year's British Formula 3 International series with reigning champions, Carlin Motorsport. Carlin Motorsport have completed their British Formula 3 line-up for this season by signing Oliver. The deal also sees the 21-year old returning to the team with whom he started his single-seater career in 2006. He said, "I am obviously excited to be back at Carlin. I've remained good friends with Trevor (Carlin) and his colleagues, so in a way it's like coming home. Their results have shown that they're pretty much the best F3 team in the world and that's where every driver wants to be".
