After a
string of successful tests, Oliver has signed to contest this year's British
Formula 3 International series with reigning champions, Carlin Motorsport.
Carlin Motorsport have completed their British Formula 3 line-up for this
season by signing Oliver. The deal also sees the 21-year old returning to the
team with whom he started his single-seater career in 2006. He said, "I am
obviously excited to be back at Carlin. I've remained good friends with Trevor
(Carlin) and his colleagues, so in a way it's like coming home. Their results
have shown that they're pretty much the best F3 team in the world and that's
where every driver wants to be". Trevor commented, "Oliver is a long-standing
friend of the team and we've been watching his progress keenly since he drove
